In a county with more than 4,500 nonprofits, we know we can accomplish so much more together.
Delaware County’s nonprofit community is robust and dedicated to improving the well-being of county residents. Since its inception in 2016, The Foundation for Delaware County is proud to provide financial assistance with grants, professional development and convening opportunities through our Center for Nonprofit Excellence, “back office” management services to increase efficiencies, and fiscal sponsorship to our community of nonprofit organizations.
As a community foundation, the Foundation plays a critical role in supporting the nonprofit sector in our region. The Foundation’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNEx), established in 2019, understands the unique challenges facing local organizations. We are dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations serving Delaware County, Pennsylvania, by providing the tools and resources they need to thrive.
The foundation awards competitive and restricted grants to nonprofits serving Delaware County, thanks to a permanent charitable endowment and generous donor contributions. More than $14M was awarded from 2017-2024. Learn more about our open, competitive Impact Grant application process.
For organizations with limited resources that could benefit from administrative and investment support, the foundation may be able to assist.
