We are investing with grants that help nonprofits in our county expand and improve services, and with professional development that helps our county’s nonprofit staff further develop their leadership skills. Our grantmaking seeks to have a positive effect on the social determinants of health — the key factors that influence individuals’ and families’ overall health and well-being, such as healthcare access and quality, economic stability, education, food security, and safe and healthy housing.
To have a sustainable effect and achieve greater health equity in Delaware County, we supported 52 nonprofit organizations through our 2023 Impact Grantmaking program.
