The CNEx kicked off its second cohort of both the Executive Directors Peer Learning Circle and Senior Staff Leaders in 2021. The goal of these circles is to respond to the need of Delaware County nonprofit leaders and to enhance collaboration and innovation across the social good sector. The circles provide nonprofit leaders in Delaware County with an open space for reflective learning, problem-solving, peer support, and individual growth, with guidance from seasoned consultants and speakers.
Open to all executive directors or CEOs serving Delaware County nonprofits, with an emphasis on meeting the leadership needs of small to mid-size organizations. This Peer Learning Circle will meet in the morning on the third Wednesday of the following months: September, October, November, January, February, and March (see dates below).
Helps aspiring leaders at Delaware County nonprofits to develop new skills, advance contributions to the nonprofit sector, and enhance their careers. Senior Staff Leaders should have some supervisory or management role in the organization and report directly to organizational leadership. To encourage support of this initiative, participation in this program requires stated support from agency leadership. This Peer Learning Circle will meet in the afternoon on the fourth Thursday of most months beginning in April.
The next call for applicants and cohorts of Peer Learning Circles will be launching in Spring 2022, when we hope to be able to convene groups in person again.
Both Peer Learning groups will meet virtually until it is safe to meet in person, at which point we will move sessions to the Foundation’s headquarters in Media.
