Established in 1966, the Robinson Scholarship Fund provides scholarships that support students who are active members of the Bethel AME Church of Ardmore and are planning to attend or are currently attending a two- or four-year accredited college or university.
The Bethel AME Church of Ardmore Endowment Fund is dedicated to ensuring the future of the Bethel AME Church in Ardmore. This fund directs endowed resources towards the sustained operations, enriching programs, and impactful community outreach efforts of the Church, thereby fostering spiritual growth and community resilience.
An agency endowed fund to help CASA fulfill their mission to help abused and neglected children live well, achieve academic excellence, and experience the joys of childhood by providing them with trained volunteer advocates who speak for their best interests.

The CCSA Endowment Fund supports the Chester Charter Scholars Academy (CCSA). CCSA empowers students to realize their best selves and employ their intellectual and creative power to succeed personally and to enrich their community.
Circle of Giving 2020 was established in March 2020 by local residents, Kelly Yiadom and Aimee Rubin, when it became clear that the COVID-19 pandemic would severely impact local families. Donations to Circle of Giving help to provide groceries, gift cards, meals and school supplies to Delaware County families. As a fiscal sponsor, the foundation provides administrative services, oversight, and financial responsibility for the activities of Circle of Giving.
Your $1,500 donation will provide ten families with a meal from a local restaurant and a $100 Acme gift card. In appreciation of your support, Circle of Giving 2020 will recognize your business on social media and add your logo to their website.
Chester ExChange seeks to help in the revitalization efforts of Chester City by bringing the community together to uplift the lives of its youth. Its mission is to create the Chester Youth Network Coalition, a network of city-wide partners that addresses educational inequality by working together to provide learning and enrichment opportunities for the children in Chester. By providing services to the partners (e.g., consulting, sharing best practices, and offering professional development activities), and sharing any funds raised based on the collective impact of the coalition’s contributions, it’s expected that Chester ExChange and the Network Coalition will benefit the children and their parents/guardians, the coalition agencies, and the community at large.
Chester Residents Concerned for Quality Living (CRCQL) is a community-led group that organizes and educates around issues of clean air, community health and environmental justice in Chester City. For over 30 years, CRCQL has advocated for the health of residents and pushed for solutions to safeguard the right to live in an environmentally safe community. CRCQL’s vision for Chester is to build a healthy community with clean air, green industry jobs and access to open, green spaces for all residents, especially youth.
The Community Needs Impact Fund is a designated fund that supports critical needs in Delaware County. This fund is used to supplement annual Impact Grants provided by the Foundation and to address pressing social challenges in the community. Individuals in the community are encouraged to join in this effort by contributing to this fund.
Cribs for Kids provides contactless safe sleep education and a crib for qualified families.
The Delaware County Office of Sustainability aims to accomplish measurable goals in health, safety, environmental justice, energy efficiency, green open space, locally grown nutritious food, zero waste, healthy hydration, green career pathways, and preparing residents and businesses for the affects of rapid climate change, especially for our most vulnerable residents.
The Foundation for Delaware County has established the Delaware County Public Health Fund to support the development of our county’s new Public Health Department. Funds raised will be used to support efforts such as educating the county’s residents about what a public health department means for our community, for pilot programs designed to create the highest quality public health department, and other costs not covered by tax dollars.
The Delco Dills Pickleball Club was formed by Pickleball-loving Delaware County residents looking to connect with others who love to play or who want to learn the game. Our mission is simple – to offer the sport of pickleball to all Delaware County residents, regardless of age or athletic ability level.
An endowed fund established by the Dumont family for general philanthropic and charitable giving in Delaware County.
An endowed fund to help FCSDC provide essential services that address mental health, food insecurity, homelessness, and other social service needs. Over the last 100 years, FCSDC has helped individuals in our community meet their basic needs and build stronger communities through healthy, empowered individuals. The Maria Shelmire Endowment Fund will help sustain our organization and work for the next 100 years.
Funds will be used to support the SHARE food program’s launch of a centralized food bank, to strengthen the emergency food response system, and to support our county’s emergency food providers, all in Delaware County.
Girls’ Night Out raises money to help women with cancer in Delaware County. Every year in October they hold a benefit – the Girls’ Night Out Fashion Show – to raise money for women with cancer. The foundation manages the Women Helping Women with Cancer fund.

The Fund for Immigration and Civil Rights was created in 2023, in memory of long-time Delaware County residents Karen and Charles Waldauer, to champion equality and justice. The fund supports efforts toward a better world for all individuals, irrespective of their origin or background, with a particular focus on those who have traditionally been marginalized or under-served. This fund helps advocate for the rights of immigrants and citizens alike by supporting efforts that provide basic needs and legal assistance, promote cultural integration, and fight for civil liberties. By making a donation to this fund, you are helping to build a more inclusive, fair and equitable society.
The mission of the Library Foundation of Delaware County, PA is to secure resources and funding that will enhance basic library services provided by member libraries of the Delaware County Library System. Your generosity provides support for programs and services of the 26 public libraries that serve residents of Delaware County. The Foundation for Delaware County is honored to provide accounting and finance support for the Library Foundation.
This fund, created by the Dougherty family in honor of Peg and Fred Dougherty, will provide financial support for high school students pursuing higher education opportunities by covering application, testing fees, and other related expenses.
This fund, created by Alice and Walter Strine, shall provide financial support for community arts programming that engages young people to further their study and practice of musical performing arts.
Overtown Arts supports the career aspirations of artists who are renewing a six-block area in downtown Chester called “Overtown”. These homegrown Chester artists are renovating long vacant buildings and creating spaces for theaters, galleries, studios, restaurants and locally owned businesses. Overtown Arts supports these artists with appreciation for the grit and determination they bring to the downtown turnabout.
The Pantry Staples Program (PSP) was founded in 2020 to provide the St. Katharine Drexel Food Pantry in Chester with a reliable supply of nutritious, non-perishable groceries such as rice, beans, soup and peanut butter. Each month, PSP purchases more than $1,000 worth of food items specifically requested by the Pantry staff to meet the needs of approximately 165 families – including 240 children and 64 seniors – who visit the Pantry each month.
The Pennsylvania Momnibus Campaign is representative of a growing advocacy and stakeholder community all with the same goal: meaningful policy change to positively impact maternal and infant health in Pennsylvania. The goal is to promote at least six policy solutions that will eventually become bills. The six policy priorities are centered around: modernizing the midwifery workforce; enhancing and diversifying the perinatal workforce; requiring reimbursement for doulas; maternal mental health; data collection and transparency; and birth equity.
The Period Project was developed in the spring of 2022 recognizing that many women and girls cannot afford adequate period products. The Period Project raises funds to purchase these products for distribution through the St. Katharine Drexel Food Pantry in Chester, PA.
Perisco is an educational nonprofit that offers free, virtual, math tutoring to children, regardless of their socioeconomic status. The tutors are qualified high-school students who volunteer in exchange for community service hours that can be applied to their college applications.
Your gift to RSS provides refugee children in the Greater Philadelphia area with the school supplies they need for success. After seeing firsthand the conditions in which refugees live and seeing their needs, Daniel Adibi and Advaith Kollipara, two passionate middle-schoolers, launched Refugee School Supplies with the support of the Young Entrepreneur’s Academy (YEA!).
An endowed fund to help Senior Community Services (SCS) fulfill their mission to help older people in Delaware County live healthier, more active, and more independent lives. Over the last 45 years, SCS has developed an extensive portfolio that includes four nationally-accredited senior centers, the county’s oldest and largest home-delivered meal program for frail elders, and a Cognitive Stimulation program that improves brain health.
Sow Good Now (SGN) helps young athletes to harness their passions for sports and channel them into active philanthropic endeavors. Using the SGN GiveBack Model, this fund is a mechanism for fostering leadership, empowering youth voices, teaching the importance of community involvement and participatory grant-making, and applying innovation in addressing social issues for a better tomorrow.
The Testimony Project is a faith-based outreach ministry that focuses on building stronger communities and bringing people together. The organization aims to create a positive impact through film and community events.
“This Is Probably a Really Weird Question” is a new podcast co-created and co-hosted by Rebecca Davis, a historian, and Ronni Hayon, a family physician. With empathy, humor, and research-backed information, each episode addresses and demystifies questions such as “How do I know if I’m trans?” “Can I get pregnant if…?”. The hosts also expand their listeners’ understanding of the history surrounding these topics.
Thomas “Wolfie” Wolfarth was a dedicated paramedic from Havertown, who died in 2009 after a long battle with brain cancer. The Wolfie Fund was established to provide support for training and education of Delaware County’s first responders.
The U-ROC Leadership™High School and Gap Year Programs bridge the gap between diverse talent and opportunity to increase prosperity and reduce violence. The high school program fulfills pathway #5 for students who need an alternative pathway in order to graduate. Both programs develop the social and emotional skills, as well as the mental strength needed to be successful in school or at work. Through professional development workshops, service-learning projects and paid internships, students learn integrity, trust, motivation, persistence, problem-solving, leadership, communication skills and confidence. By the end of the program, they either have a clear pathway to the education they need for their career choice or have a full time sustainable living wage job.
Support for this fund helps program participant’s enrolled in the foundation’s maternal health programs including Healthy Start, Nurse-Family Partnership, and HOPE. Funding can help families with unforeseen emergency needs such as repairing/replacing a broken refrigerator, buying cribs, beds or other essentials, paying for a car seat to transport their child home from the hospital after giving birth, an emergency heating repair or heating oil order, utility arrears, purchasing diapers, baby formula, covering health insurance or prescription copays and much more.
Yeadon Community Coalition’s mission is to improve the quality of life for its residents by providing opportunities to engage in interactions and activities that will minimize isolation, identify and connect to existing community, county, state and federal resources and implement and facilitate a Community Share Program.
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a life-changing program that transforms local middle and high-school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Through the year-long program, students in grades 6-12 generate business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, pitch to a panel of investors, and launch their very own companies. As a fiscal sponsor, the foundation is honored to provide accounting, financial oversight, and administrative services for YEA!.
