The Foundation for Delaware County, a 501(c)(3) organization, offers a number of donation options. You can:

  • Donate via check to The Foundation for Delaware County (indicate on the note section if donation is for a specific fund). Checks can be addressed to The Foundation for Delaware County, 200 East State Street, Suite 304, Media, PA 19063
  • Make a gift of appreciated stock. The foundation’s DTC # is 0141. Please contact Kim Grochowski if you intend to make a gift of stock.
  • Establish a donor-advised or other fund

Maternal & Child Health Programs

Help support the programs of The Foundation for Delaware County, including Healthy Start, Nurse-Family Partnership and WIC – maternal health programs which work to improve maternal and birth outcomes, maternal, child and adolescent health, parenting capacity, and family self-sufficiency among high-risk, low-income families in Delaware County.

Cribs for Kids

Cribs for Kids provides contactless safe sleep education and a crib for qualified families.

COVID-19 Response Fund

Help the foundation to provide immediate resources for nonprofits serving vulnerable residents across Delaware County during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Circle of Giving 2020

Circle of Giving 2020 was established in March 2020 by local residents, Kelly Yiadom and Aimee Rubin, when it became clear that the COVID-19 pandemic would severely impact local families. Donations to Circle of Giving help to provide groceries, gift cards, meals and school supplies to Delaware County families. As a fiscal sponsor, the foundation provides administrative services, oversight, and financial responsibility for the activities of Circle of Giving.

Girls’ Night Out

Girls’ Night Out raises money to help women with cancer in Delaware County. Every year in October they hold a benefit – the Girls’ Night Out Fashion Show – to raise money for women with cancer. The foundation manages the Women Helping Women with Cancer fund.

Thomas Wolfarth EMS Training Fund

Thomas “Wolfie” Wolfarth was a dedicated paramedic from Havertown, who died in 2009 after a long battle with brain cancer. The Wolfie Fund was established to provide support for training and education of Delaware County’s first responders.

The Thomas Wolfarth EMS Training Fund is one of the donation options for contributing to The Foundation for Delaware County.

The Foundation for Delaware County was recently recognized for our transparency with a 2020 Platinum Seal on our GuideStar Nonprofit Profile.
