We are thrilled to announce a new nonprofit endowment fund: Chester Charter Scholars Academy Endowment Fund. The endowment will enable the CCSA Foundation to grow its assets, ensuring long-term sustainability while facilitating the growth of its planned giving program.
CCSA Foundation’s mission is to support the Chester Charter Scholars Academy (CCSA), an arts-integrated, K-12 nonprofit public charter school offering an exceptional educational option in Chester, PA. Over the past decade, CCSA has undergone remarkable growth and success. Starting as a K-6 school serving just over 250 students, it has expanded its reach to educate 695 children across thirteen grade levels, making it the only K-12 school in Chester. 98% of CCSA seniors go on to graduate from the school, and 89% of graduates pursue post-secondary college or technical school. CCSA Foundation recently launched (with Impact Grant funding from the Foundation) a math education program for elementary and middle school students to help improve their math proficiency.
Through this new partnership with the Foundation, CCSA Foundation will not only grow its assets but also gain access to expert guidance on administering planned gifts, including charitable gift annuities.
