The goal of the Peer Learning Circles is to respond to the needs of nonprofit leaders serving Delaware County, enhance collaboration, and innovation across the social sector. The learning circle approach is based on an action learning framework in which peers with similar backgrounds and responsibilities come together to learn from each other’s experiences and apply these learnings in their organizations. The circles provide an open space for reflective learning, problem-solving, peer support, and individual growth, guided by an expert facilitator that helps manage the process and discussions.
The CNEx is excited to announce two Peer Learning Circles that will run from January- November 2025; one for Executive Directors and one for Senior Leaders (that report directly to Executive Directors). These cohorts will each consist of up to 12 peers and will be facilitated by Sonia Stamm.
Members of each circle will have the opportunity to help develop session content in conjunction with our facilitator; and to lead sessions based on real-time challenges and opportunities at your organizations. Each two hour session will focus on group members helping each other achieve their goals through highly focused questioning and feedback. The Senior Leaders and Executive Directors Peer Learning Circles will begin with a joint kick-off event on January 28 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and will include five in-person sessions at the Foundation’s Media office, held bi-monthly on the first Wednesday and Thursday of the month, respectively.
