2026 Partners in Giving Grant Recipients

The Foundation for Delaware County and The Community’s Foundation partnered to launch Partners in Giving in 2026, a collaborative grantmaking initiative that streamlines the funding process for nonprofits while aligning philanthropic investments to address Delaware County’s greatest needs. Together more than, $306K was awarded. We are grateful for the supporters whose generosity has made this funding possible.

Services for Cancer Survivors

Breathing Room Foundation: $10,000 to support Delaware County families affected by cancer by providing individualized financial assistance, transportation, meals, household essentials, and compassionate supportive services that reduce barriers to treatment and improve family well-being.

Bringing Hope Home: $10,000 to support Delaware County families experiencing financial hardship during active cancer treatment by providing direct financial assistance for housing, utilities, food, and other essential needs that stabilize households and enable patients to focus on life-saving medical care.

HEADstrong Foundation: $10,000 to support individuals and families affected by cancer by providing emotional support, financial assistance, and community-based services that help reduce the social and financial burdens of treatment and improve their quality of life.

Chester Community Improvement Project: $3,000 to support low- and moderate-income households experiencing housing instability by providing emergency financial assistance, housing counseling, financial education, and case management that promote long-term housing and financial stability.

Darby Free Library: $5,000 to support residents of Darby and surrounding communities by expanding access to technology, adult education, workforce development, early childhood learning, and safe community gathering spaces through modernization of the library’s facilities.
