The Foundation’s standard grantmaking policies and procedures includes approving all grants with our Grant Committee. A subset of that committee, the Rapid Response Advisory Committee will make funding recommendations for the fund. The Foundation will issue a Delaware County Rapid Response Request for Proposals (RFP) and maintain an open rolling application during an active emergency period. Foundation staff will manage strategic coordination with government and funding partners and all administrative and financial aspects, ensuring accountability and timely reporting to the Board of Directors.

Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) nonprofits or fiscally sponsored community organizations serving Delaware County, providing basic human services (food, housing, utilities, health, emergency aid, etc.), and directly addressing a community crisis or disaster-related need identified by the Foundation’s Executive Leadership.
