The Foundation for Delaware County is excited to partner with The Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University’s School of Business to offer a Delaware County certification program to nonprofits.
The foundation is seeking to continue its impact by supporting the professional development needs of nonprofit leaders and staff by providing high quality capacity-building opportunities locally in the county. The Foundation for Delaware County’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management course will launch in October 2020, and interested participants should plan to attend 10 six-hour (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) sessions in order to complete the certification. Sign-up and Fees:
Under T.D. Bank’s Nonprofit Training Resource Fund, eligible organizations in Delaware County can apply for $1,000 mini grants to fully cover the cost of participation for a single employee. More information about the fund and application will be provided at the time of registration. Organizations that have already received training stipends through this fund or that do not receive a grant to support this training will be charged a sliding scale fee for participation, based on organizational budget size. For organizations that do not qualify through T.D. Bank’s fund, the costs for the program are as follows: $100 for organizations with a budget under $1,000,000, $200 for organizations with a budget between $1,000,000 – $5,000,000, $300 for organizations with a budget between $5,000,000 – $10,000,000, $350 for organizations with a budget over $10,000,000.
