The Foundation for Delaware County is dedicated to serving residents throughout our area and advancing our community. Foundation grant awards to nonprofits in the county are a prime means of achieving these goals. The awards have a direct impact – saving lives, improving the future for our neighbors, and strengthening local organizations. March 1 Announcement of $330,000 of New Grants from Restricted Funds:

  • Main Line Health HomeCare & Hospice, Radnor, PA – $30,000

  • Widener Community Nursing Clinic, Chester, PA – $4,726
  • Boys & Girls Club of Chester, Chester, PA – $75,000
  • Taylor Community Foundation, Ridley, PA – $100,000

2018 Grant Application

The foundation began its first competitive grantmaking cycle with a formal Request for Proposals on April 30.  More than 100 proposals were submitted online July 2. Awards will be announced on Oct. 31.
